Palmyra Together is a new neighbourhood development project. The group is made up of local residents and has representatives from local churches, the Palmyra Primary School, Melville History Society, Senior Citizens Centre, local businesses and sporting groups.
The groups priorities are:
- to share information and link community groups and assets
- to retain and celebrate local history
- to work towards a more sustainable community
Why We Love Palmyra
The group identified what they love about Palmyra:
- it's an established suburb
- open spaces and sea breeze
- access to transport and other amenities
- long term residents
- the schools
- community spirit
- history
It Is Easy to Be Involved
The great thing about this project is that you can be involved by just being you!

You Are Welcome to Join
You and your family, friends and neighbours are welcome to join our e-mail group where you will be sent meeting notes, information relevant to Palmyra and a chance to stay connected to the group and your neighbourhood. Send us a quick message if you'd like to join!
You are also welcome to come along to Palmyra Together meetings, held on Wednesday evenings at the Palmyra Primary School Library, McKimmie Road, Palmyra. Starting at 6:00pm until 7:30pm. Light refereshments provided.
